GAOHUA + CHANG

We met in 2009 at a college fair in high school, the moment he asked for a piece of gum, from there we were inseparable. Or maybe I was…..He was my first love and officially my last love. We got engaged in March 2018, married in June 2019. We will be celebrating our 12 years in February & 3 years married in March (Hmong) / June (American wedding). We are just beyond excited for our future and just see for it all to play out. We have had so many songs throughout our dating years. It kind of just blurs together….but our wedding song was “in case you didn’t know” by Brett young. Over 12 years of being together, I can’t imagine being with anyone else but him. I have a great support system already, but we all have our own demons and thoughts that always seem to pop up. Throughout my nursing journey in college, he was always that extra support, motivation, and voice of encouragement I needed. We wouldn’t be where we are now, without one another support and unconditional love. -Gaohua V.
